before tile crafting: restoration
I started working as a conservator restorer in 1978 at the Pest county Museums Directory in the Roman Collection of Stonecraft. After finishing the elementary course I mostly restored archeological findings. I moved to Szentendre in 1982 and applied for admission to the conservator restorer course of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts from where I graduated in 1986 as a conservator of ceramics and related materials. In 1989 I also received a degree as paper-restorer. In 1990 I graduated from the Hungarian University of technology as a scheduled monument consulting engineer. From the same year on I started working as a free lance restorer. Since 2002 I give lessons at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts at the department of Object-restoration on restoring ceramics and related materials in practice. Between 1991 and 1994 I worked several times at the Nancy a Mus? de Metaux in France. All together I spent one and a half year there, mostly restoring archeological findings. I'm memeber of the Association of the Hungarian Restorers since it's founding (my membership nr. Is: T4-169) and since 1987 of the Hungarian Artists Association (MAOE).
